PIPISTREL Alpha

The Pipistrel Alpha Trainer is a Slovenian two-seat, single-engine light-sport aircraft intended specifically for flight training
The Alpha was announced at the end of 2011 and production started in 2012. Based on the design of the Pipistrel Virus
Alpha Trainer: Rotax 912 ULS engine 80hp (60kW). It cruises 200 km/h (124 mph, 108 kn)
Alpha Electro: Powered by a 76 hp (58 kW) electric engine. It cruises 157 km/h (98 mph, 85 kn)
